Rainbow Egypt is a leading LGBTQIA+ advocacy and protection organization in Egypt. “We consider our organization as home and the LGBTQIA+ individuals as our family”.
Rainbow focuses on reaching out to community members from different backgrounds, cities, regions, genders and sexual orientations with activities and projects focused on the ground or online outreach which promotes empowerment and solidarity for Egypt’s LGBTQIA+ community.
The organization works to provide a safe space online, maintain a healthy environment, and promote mutual respect by helping to create a positive LGBTQIA+ community through active participation and fostering a sense of belonging.
Vision
The vision is to create a strong connected and empowered LGBTQIA+ community in Egypt, able to claim the rights of the community and solve communal problems.
Mission
The mission is to build a strong network for communication between all members of the LGBTQIA+ community where they can express themselves with their real identities without fear, learn, inform, and reach out to others around them in a safe space.
